Korean Name Recording

Audio recording experiment, includes consent form.

In the main task, participants are presented with a Korean nonce name and asked to say it 3 times. The task begins with instructions which tell the participant that they will be recorded. The next part of the task is a recording test in which the participants preform a test recording which is played back to them.

For the main part of the experiment, each word is presented to the participant and a 10 second recording is started automatically. If the participant finishes the task before the time is up, they can click 'done' to stop the recording. Participants proceed to the next trial by clicking 'next' (this allows them to take a break if they need to.

This experiment was used to collect stimuli for a perception study, but could also be used for a perception study.
