These materials were used in study 2 of a preregistered study aimed at replicating and substantially extend a frequently cited experiment by Schurr and Ritov, published in 2016, suggesting that winners of pairwise competitions are more likely than others to steal money in subsequent games of chance against different opponents, possibly because of an enhanced sense of entitlement among competition winners. The coin toss task could be presented either before or after the psychometric scales. The presentation order (before/after) was randomised and balanced across the 4 conditions (2 experimental conditions, 2 control groups).
