This is a direct replication of the Leuven Embedded Figures Task reported in study 2 of De-Wit, Huygelier, Van der Hallen, Chamberlain and Wagemans (2017). Stimuli are those reported and made available in the paper.
The task involves a three-choice sample to matching task for embedded figures where targets shapes vary on symmetry, closure and complexity (number of lines). Embedding context is varied over four levels and is achieved through increasing numbers of lines with good continuation - lines that continue the lines of the target shape through the rest of the image.
This experiment has two branches - one in English and one in Greek.
